Year 5 Careers incursion
The students of Year 5 were fortunate enough to take part in a ‘careers incursion’ on Monday. We were visited by a number of adults from our local community, who talked about their role within their interesting careers. The students learnt why they decided to make their career choice, how they got into the role, and what the job involves. We heard from Firemen, a Nurse, an Engineer, Criminal Psychologist and someone in marketing and advertising. We would like to say a big thank you to the volunteers who gave up their time. Who knows what careers our current year 5’s may decide to do in the future?
